Looks good. Western players have to wait til may but those lucky Japanese players can play them now.

It does indeed look good. Wonder what the top selling game will be.

After much talk, hype, and some more talking WiiWare has now gone live in Japan and games are available for all to download. Nine separate games have been made available for the debut of the service. We are not sure what game we’d download first if we could, maybe it might be Dr. Mario. If you’d also like to pretend what game you’d like to download there is a full list of what is available posted below. US and Europe will not be getting WiiWare until May, so we all have some waiting to do. We’ll probably get a vastly different list of games when the services debuts over here too.

# Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Wii (1,000 Wii Points)

quite fancy the table tennis game - I love the table tennis even in M^S and for the price it would be just about perfect for Wii Ware. My Local GameStation sells 2000 points cards for £13.00 rather than the £20.00 they retail at - I reckon I may have to buy a couple whilst their cheap and hold on to them til May.

^ they are meant to retail at £14.99, anywhere you see them at £20 is ripping you off.

They're supposed to go for $20 USD, so yes. I know prices usually get inflated overseas, but all the way to £20 is preposterous and I'm certain that's not correct. Heck, I personally find £13 overpriced, but it's at least more reasonable. £10.99 sounds a lot nicer and fairer.

Also: "I wonder what the top selling game will be".

Hello, Mario game? Obviously will sell the best. It's only in there to draw attention to WiiWare, anyways.

I'm surprised at some of the games prices. I thought dr mario would be less than 10 dollars. All the same, the launch titles look pretty good. Got me excited. I wonder how it'll go over.

Wow, that was quick. I really wonder if the Japanese public will embrace something like this... time will tell, and a FF title should help the launch.

I dunno about the Japanese public, but I've already downloaded Mojipittan and FFCC. Also, I would like to direct people to this article I just read at Kotaku and had kinda noticed when I was downloading, but I wasn't completely sure if that's what it meant, so I didn't want to create alarms until others who were sure brought it up.

I will also try to get a couple of videos up of the two games over the next few days in my thread,

Edit: Haha, yep, time for bed when you put down the wrong name of the website that you also post a link too. . .

Yea I saw that a step towards downloadable content ... hopefully a firmware update for usb hard drive soon. Nintendoworldreport.com has videos of most the launch games too.
