Well, I like chocolate. Not THAT much, but it's good. Sometimes I eat it while I'm watching TV, too. That feels nice.
I'm going to wait till it gets a price drop...
...So maybe late 2009? I may be persuaded earlier if some intriguing games come out that support it, i'm really hoping for a Wiiware ball rolling type game to use it.

It's no longer available for pre-order on amazon.co.uk, people have probably already preordered the entire first shipment to the UK.
I think either way, you are getting something that you are looking forward to. Like said earlier, Wii fit is going to be the hardest to find later on out of any of the other titles. If it was sold out 3-4 months in Japan it will be sold out in the US through Christmas I can almost imagine.

Well as far as software shortages are concerned I think Nintendo Of Canada and Nintendo Of America have it nearly under control. When Brawl was released I expected to see very few in stock. But to my suprise its hard to find a store sold out of Brawl (In my city in BC Canada).
This tells me that Nintendo Of Canada and Nintendo Of America have really stepped up there game for releasing software. of course we got Brawl over a month later then the Japanese giving NOA/NOC a month to stock pile as many copies as possible.
If WiiFit is hard to find I think it will only be because the balance board will be harder to keep up with. Nintendo will have a harder time manufacturing enough boards , its far easier to supply the world with just disks.
But as far as software shortages of Nintendo's major first party titles, I don't think their will be wide spread shortages this year. If Brawl was any indication I think the problem has nearly been dealt with!

Things have been going a little fast, but stop for a second. Think about what Wii Fit is. It's a flat piece of friggin' plastic. You stand on it. You do push ups on it. Chances are, you already have that at your house. Buy your games. If you can't get Wii Fit, maybe that's not such a bad thing.
exactly d21lewis - if it comes down to physical turture with Wii fit or Mental torture with trying to get to grips with the new Pro Evo - I'll take the mental turture everytime. I reckon i'll get the same amount of exercise anyway kicking the dog when I get beat game after game.

Yeah, wise choice indeed. Play real games instead of this casual thing. Better play sports like Wii Fit outdoors in a fitness center. Can't believe it's such a big hit in Japan...

Make sure to stretch before kicking your dog. Dog kicking, without proper preparation is the #3 cause of pulled ham strings in males age 16 to 28. Also try kicking a smaller, cuter dog. Work your way up to a St. Bernard.......then drink the liquor in that little barrel under his neck. That's how I got so ripped!!
