Forums - Microsoft - Quantum Break Impression of Act 1. Good gunplay, impressive immersion.

Wht I dont agree with, is having to download the TV series. This should b included in a second disc. I hope this does not become a trend. Without a good internet connection DLing the tv series is NOT going to b fun!

There is no way in hell that i could stream the videos with my internet speed.

One of the "perks" of living in a fucking third world country.

Lets not derail this thread like that time a game called The Order released and most of the time someone derailed to talk about Gears, lets not do that guys.

Btw , this game have multiplayer?

No it doesnt, this is the kind of game where a multiplayer would be meaningless since it's based on time power

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

The Order had no interesting gameplay feature. QB tries to push TPS in a way that no other game did since Gears 1.

More than gunplay, time powers play an essential role in your movement through the world. It offers campaign replayability as well with ambiguous storytelling.

That's some huge hyperbole.

Why is it a hyperbole?

Max Payne 3 had bullet time and a pretty good MP.

I am ok with no MP as long as the SP is good.

Because it's simply compltely false to say no other game pushed TPS genre as much as Quantum Break since Gears 1 , a lot did and much better than QB( which doesnt push far at all, it's not the first TPS with powers, really not, thats why some previews called it classic).

For example, even Max Payne 3 is not a step above others TPS in the pure shooter mecanics, it's an unique game of last generation, everyone who played it knows it, the feel is simply unique and brought many good things in the genre. ( and i dont think QB will come close to be as unique and good as this one)

And i dont even talk about the open world TPS's

Which one of them ditched the more defensive "cover feature" to go for a more offensive "time+gun blasting"? Most TPS since Gears 1 adopted wall cover, to continue with themechanic instead of inovating or breaking from the formula. Name names if you know any other title that pushed the mechanics of TPS.
