These are some recommendations:
· Rayman Legends: probably one of the best options for having some wild, offline multiplayer fun. You can play the campaign, the challenges or even have some goofy fun with the Kung-football minigame. I've spent entire days playing this with friends. :P It's on WiiU, but the mechanics are different in certain parts of the game, so consider that.
· Knack. Meh game (you're advised), but co-op helps everything. And besides, if the children are having fun, then everything else can be forgiven.
· Metal Slug 3. I guess the game is kind of violent, even with its pixel-art style, but I think it's tolerable for children (Check it first). It's relentless, and kind of hard, but it is also that kind of game you can't stop playing once you pick the controller.
· Street Fighter. Sure, it's people punching the crap out of other people, but no blood, so where's the problem?!
· Little Bit Planet 3. Another safe bet, even if it's complicated at first.
· Divinity: Original Sin. Another violent game, but I don't think it's too explicit to be harmful to the kids. It's also a not so easy to play game, but still, check it out first then decide.
· Geometry Wars 3. Fun retro-styled stick shooter! Check it out.
