Yes the overall output resolution is dynamic. But it never drops to much or far from 1080p. My point is the native shadows are more likely 720p or even lower.

It's sub 30 fps, even more of a joke at 720p.

Keep checking the newly created members and you'll see quite a few 26 or 30 yr old males joining the site with jumbled up usernames as if someone mashed the keyboard. Pretty sure some people on here we've knwon for a while that still have the odd alt kept in storage for a rainy day.

So it's 720p upscaled right? We know that XB one is able to do >720p res at 30fps, so either Remedy is working with a game engine that does not use Xb one efficiently, or they are doing some really graphically demanding things at certain parts of the game which the Xb one can't handle at >720 without severely affecting fps. Just as pure speculation I think it's got to be a bit of both. As the DF footage shows the game does experience screen tear and modest fps drops, which at a 720p native resolution shouldn't happen, especially in the footage I watched there didn't seem to be huge spikes in graphical demand. So I think they are using a sub-optimal game engine. But I also think Remedy has probably made a game that is going to do some visually impressive stuff that is going to put a heavy burden on the hardware at times.

If the game is overall as good as people are hoping, I hope this reso-gate round 20,000 doesn't affect sales too much. But if it does at least Remedy will have PC sales to help with game profitability.
