I live in germany and for not so long ago (let's say a few months) my maximum to download something was 225kbps and not more so yeah it is normal for some people.

Ah, I'm living in the South West of Ireland an area most people would associate with potatoes and represented in the Broken sword games as an old castle and a donkey.... But I'm on the lower end of net here which clocks in at around 13mbps giving download rates of 1.4MB/ps there is 100mb fiber available in town too I've just not gone about upgrading to it.

If you don't mind me asking is that connection you have costly/have a data cap? ours is €40 per month with no cap, the 100mb fiber here comes to around €55 per month, also no cap.

I live in the Mid-West of Ireland, we have more rocks than potatoes here!

Good to see a fellow Irish person on here.... How much does the local Gamestop charge you for a new release? Do you have to nearly remortgage the house if releases are close together?

Not sure we need a thread for this...since you can just check the status.

But no, PSN is working fine for me.

According to the PSN Status page everything is fine.  I was playing Battlefront about an hour ago, so it was def working then.

According to http://downdetector.com/status/playstation-network there are indeed people having trouble signing in.

GAHHHHH, just when I wanted to play some FFXIV

The new Pokemon rumble for the 3DS here is €75 in gamestop, I haven't bought a game in there since.... eerrrr... Forza 4 I think, was the last game I recall getting new anyway, pick up the odd cheap as shit pre owned thing or clearence boxsets. I'm just basically waiting for them to close down that store and fuck off from town, the guys working in there mostly hate gaming too it's run like an absolute shithole.

Belgium, the country where providers ask alot of money for bad service.

Only 10 percent till the download is complete but i have to w8 till next month since im nearing my downloadcapacity for this month, and i still want to be able to go on the internet.

I blame myself for being so stupid to actually buy it digitally.

Ah yeah, I used to raid in wow with a good few Belgians they had a system where if they went past their download limit they got knocked from broadband back to 56kb speeds basically for the rest of the month, remember it happening a few times in fairly important raids having a person reverting to fucking dial up because windows update decided to eat their bandwidth, sad times.

Did enjoy going over to meet them though, although the main meet up place was the Efteling park if you've ever gone to it, I'd almost trade our decent net here for an awesome park with wooden rollercoasters (I know Efteling is in Netherlands btw! not belguim). Moderately offtopic to psn being down lol... but I'm pretty sure it was answered in the first 2 posts that it wasn't.
