Is this gif real? The car seems like it's made of pasteboard.

It is yes, the second one can confirm it. Gamersyde was right about the physic, and about the textures disappearing when you aim something not close enough too :

Remedy is not the master of technic i've been told  or  they have been rushed by Microsoft because the game seems unpolished and unfinished in so many technical ways.

The game is in development for  4 Years isn't ?, so i think that Microsoft, did not rushed things.

The analysis didnt lie, the  physic is indeed really bad and disappointing compared to the promises :

The game did get delayed which Microsoft allowed, plus its also coming to PC which will be pushing the console hardware even further. If UC4 was coming to PC, expect the exact same thing. COnsoles cant keep up with modern PC. They will all need to be watered down. Should be glad this game is available on Consoles in the first place. They must be really pushing if there aiming for 720p and 30 frames. The fact the PS4 isnt that much more powerful only tells the real story behind this. PC is just too far ahead.

But they obviously didnt delay it enough knowing Remedy.

And for thé rest, Uncharted 4 proves you wrong, no PC version but still push the console very much further .

So no, never à PC version will make à console version better, what an absolute nonsense, how can you even arrive to this conclusion ?

Yes PC has everything to do with QB results. They have higher boundaries to hit on PC which will mean that on the X1 version will have to push to achieve which in this case they are. The Bullet Time effect is not an easy effect to achieve so unless you rather them dumb down on what makes the game important for a 1080p screen I am glad they opted for what’s actually important.

You can’t keep delaying a game to achieve 1080p or 60 frames. The game has hit the target Remedy believe is good enough. Remember Killzone SF at release, many Gamers didn’t even know the game wasn’t running full 1080p for its multiplayer until someone spoke up about it. QB uses techniques to make it look sharper then 720p even though it’s still 720p.

As for UC4, it doesn’t prove me wrong, it’s a completely different game trying to achieve different things. What QB does UC4 doesn’t do as for what UC4 does QB doesn’t do. If UC4 came to PC it would look tons better just like QB on PC looks tons better. The point is if you’re developing the game for console only you have very easy limits to hit. QB is focused on both console and PC which means there limits are way higher. They will be adventurous with the PC version which will lead to more downgrades for the console version as they aim to do more, hence the 720p/30frames.

UC4 doesn’t render 1080p in Multiplayer so maybe ND should have delayed the game again right? That’s your logic.

Please. UC4 is 1080p/30fps for campaign and 900p/60fps for multiplayer. It's not the same thing that 720p/sub30fps.

I mean come on.

Lol the point went way over your head.

I understand your point. If the game was 720p yes it should have been delayed. But a 900p/60fps for multiplayer is enough. Even if 1080p for the solo is much better.

A 720p with sub 30fps is a problem.

Yes, Uncharted 4, proves that you are Wrong, but this is Off-topic, so we don't need to speak about Uncharted.

The point here is that a Company that make Consoles will not be Retard enought to make a Game that will Struggle to run on your main Console, if there was not a PC Version, Quantum Break, would still be the same game Graphical speaking, maybe the Optimization would be better and the game would be able to run 900p, working on 2 Versions of a game when your studio have only 140 People, is something that demand a lot of people.

I Don't think that Microsoft, would push the PC, more than the Xbox, those are the reasons i think that a PC Version of a Console game that should be Exclusive, does not benefit nothing on Graphic, The Majority of the PC Market, don't have a Enought hardware to use Something Much more stronger than Xbox One,  Can make, it is something Niche, the Game is locked to Windows 10 Store, only for the ones that have Windows 10 Installed on their PC, Making this move even more Niche, they have over 20 Millions of Users on Xbox One, that just need to Plug and Play, and that purchased a Console, this means that 100% of those people will still purchase next Games, while the Windows Install Base, the 200 Millions of Users, less than 200 may be the ones that Will purchase the game, is unclear because People purchase Computer for a lot of reasons, while Consoles, they purchase only to play games.

I Think that is a Job too hard for Remedy, work on  a Such big game, and have to work also on a PC Plataform at the same time, look at the other games made by Remedy, They Aways only had to make 1 version of the game, and  other companies was the ones who made the Port for other plataform, Alan Wake, launched for PC 2 years after, is time enought for them to work on a PC Version, after the Console Version is already ready.

I Think that the 2 Versions of the game, is what Made Quantum Break,  native 720P, Remedy, is about 70% of the Size of Platinum Games, you Already Saw Platinum Games, making 2 Versions of a game at the same time ?, no, They rather make a Game Exclusive or let some other companies make the Port for other plataforms, the First Bayonetta game, was portted for Playstation 3, by Sega, Platinum Games, only made 1 Version, the Xbox 360, and only released the Wii U Version, 3 Years Later, Developers of this size should  Focus on just 1 Plataform.

Why you are limited games to just 2 categories? Resolution and Framerate? There’s a lot more to making games then those 2 things. 720p with improved AA is just as sharp as a 900p game. Killzone SF multiplayer is proof there are ways to make a game look sharp while using less pixels then 900p.

KZSF 960 x 1080 = 2040  compared to 1600 x 900 = 2500

You rather play a game satisficing its amazing visuals to achieve 1080p? Go for it. Delaying games doesn’t always solve that problem. UC4 still doesn’t hit 1080p multiplayer with all its delays.

UC4 doesn’t prove me wrong because it’s not coming to PC. Completely different situations plus it’s been heavily delayed and still doesn’t reach a full 1080p for its multiplayer.

Alan Wake ran at a unique resolution for the 360 so Remedy focusing on other aspects to games isn’t anything new. Also QB on the PC has very high recommended hardware to run. Look them up.

QB is releasing on both PC and X1 at the same time which means they are focusing on one version and porting the other. There’s nothing wrong with that because there is nothing wrong with the way QB looks on the X1. You don’t need a game running at 1080p and 60 frames to be amazing looking. Ryse and The Order have proved this.

Remedy are amazing developers and they can achieve amazing things. There’s more to a game then focusing on pixels. The game doesn’t struggle on X1 because it runs at 30 frames. If a 30 frame game has heavy drops then it’s struggling. What Remedy is doing is focusing on what makes QB good. They have found the perfect medium for their product. MS and Remedy are not stupid, they have been making games for decades, I am sure what they are doing is well worth the sacrifice.

I will prefer a 720p game with heavy effects then a 1080p with dumb down effects. Resolution has been very overrated this gen. QB is only more proof you don’t need 1080p to make an amazing looking game.

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Shadow Fall multiplayer was a problem, you got a gorgeous solo mode, and when you go multiplayer you got blurry graphic.

Again, the Woman of the Forum  warned us to stop talking about Uncharted 4.

Star Wars Battlefront, a  Very very good looking game, is 720p on Xbox One, but the game is 60 FPS, have a lot of Eff on the Screen, and the game have a Heavy Multiplayer, Quantum Break, have just the Single Player, and it runs at 30FPS, Of Course the PC Version, harmed the Console Version in some way.

other Small-Medium Studios, they only work on 1 Game per time, and  when is a Triple A Tittle, them only work for 1 Plataform, 140 People for a game like Quantum Break, you need all the people focusing on 1 Plataform, do you know how many people need for Quality Control, Optimization, and  to Code, A port of a Game ?.

Rocket League, is a much Small game from a company that only have 30 Employees, they took 8 Months to port a simple game like Rocket League, for the Xbox One, Quantum Break, is much bigger, do you really think that this does not harm the development of the console version ?.

Consoles does not Hold the industrie Back, they are the ones that give more Money for the Triple A Games, and the Market for PC Gamers that have a Much better PC, than a Xbox One, is much small, when it became something normal, the Next Generation already will be out, a Exclusive Releasing for PC, just harm the Development of the game, for both versions, the Console Version, is the most damaged on the process, because PC, if you have a Time Machine-like PC, you can still play the game with some quality, while on Console, you are locked on just 1 Hardware.
