I'm not sure whether or not Kubo intended to originally continue Bleach beyond the Aizen saga, but he did say that he wanted Bleach to last 10 years about 4 years back. I'm guessing his publishers/editors wanted him to continue Bleach after the Aizen saga because of its still rather good ratings, but the ratings started falling by a lot when the anime ended (In the end, Animes are essentially marketting for the main manga), and thus they made him rush through it. This arc had its moments (Everything but the Rain, the Quincy's prologue fights, etc) and I feel like it's good overall, but it's a shame that the manga I've been reading since 2009 is going to have a rushed ending...

Come on Kubo troll us one last time! It can't end like this D:

Heya everyone, Cloudman here again with another mini manga recommendation! Do you like games and cute girls? Well, maybe you'll like this! It's called New Game! and it's about a girl fresh out of high school who gets a job as an artist for a video game company. It's a comedy 4 koma that just follows the daily life of this girl working in this company and getting along with her coworkers. It's pretty fun for the most part and the art is great. I should have guessed, as it looks like Versus has one of the characters as his avi, but dang, I want to watch it now...

I watched it yesterday, too.  The joke in that page is in the anime but I feel like it was better executed in the manga, probably due to translation. 

One thing I really like in manga that anime can't replicate are those little side comments.  Sometimes they're really funny or informative, almost like thought bubbles, but they make no sense in animated form.

Also, yeah, Super is leading a Jump revolution.

Oh yeah maybe I should have mentioned New Game...read it a few months ago, thought it was pretty cute and funny. I checked out the anime to see if it was a proper adaptation and it is, so that's good for people wanting to jump into the anime. I do recommend it as well, it's a nice read. I read so many mangas, some get lost in thought xD

I just started something called Fire Punch and, holy cats, it's brutal.  Lots of death.  It's about a dystopian world where everything is snow and ice.  People are born who are blessed, meaning they have powers, and a particularly powerful Blessed named the Ice Witch has brought ruin to civilization.  Most villages are on the edge of freezing and starvation but some have grown powerful by preying on and enslaving others.

The titular character of the manga is a boy who has fantastic regeneration abilities--which, as it turns out, isn't that great of a thing when people are starving.  Yeah, like I said, it's brutal.

Bad stuff happens, obviously, and he essentially turns into Kratos, except MORE UNKILLABLE.  Lots of people dying, innocent and bad, lots of Fatality! type kills.

Pretty interesting.  I see 11 chapters out and I'm on chapter 7.

Just looked up Fire Punch, and the premise does seem interesting. Not too many chapters to catch up on either. Might have to try this one out next.
