Someone has already used a -jutsu that seems to cause wedgies.  I can only hope that was a real thing in feudal Japan.  Also, congrats on finally having a good character in your avatar!

This is kind of interesting, though it's a very well used formula.  It also has a lot of horror-type gore.

The main characters of You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead can see ghosts.  When his former childhood friend is killed, she leads him to the murderer.  Unlike other ghosts, though, she sticks with him afterwards and seems to want to help him.  This turns into finding more murders, of course.

What interests me about this so far (ch. 2) is that she can't speak and it hasn't been moe in the slightest, which makes me wonder if there will be any kind of progression between them.

Yes yes yes yeeeeeeees! I've been following this one for awhile now. It's a pretty fun read, and surprisingly brutal and gory. It's more so when you learn who the artist is and the original idea the editor suggested xD

The art looked very familiar but I couldn't place it.  It gave me nothing else when I clicked on the writer's name.  Also, you sounded really sinister right then.

Oh, it's nothing like that. It's actually pretty funny~ It's a couple of chapters in.

That was cute.  I imagine quite a few manga editors say "add more girls" at one time or another.  Reminds me of the manga where the author said her editor kept telling her to increase the bust size of the main character with every design proposal.

Overall, I really like the series.  It's wierd and different and doesn't really try to explain everything.  I like how some of the chapters end without any kind of actual resolution.  A dozen people can get murdered by alien zombie cats and the next day the main character is falling asleep in class again.  He is remarkably chill.  Also, his mom is hot.

The way the mangaka draws faces looks so familiar, though.  I wish I could put my finger on it.

I thought this was adorable (Saki spin-off Saki-Biyori).  Kana's little sisters are a handful.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny how the author put such a dark twist to his suggestion, and the story can be quite gory and graphic. But I really like this manga as well, though unsurprising since I love reading horror stories.  Many of the stories are unique or just strange, but still deliver on the horror. Some of the characters are charming, like the dark idol. She's probably my favorite in the manga.

A new Wotakoi chapter was posted recently, and already the glasses babe's up to her old tricks. That expression on her face... Gosh, I love this gal xD

Hina from Hinamatsuri is freaking hilarious.  Such a strange manga.

Some good updates this week...I'm too lazy to comment on most of them though. My Hero Academia is really impressing me lately though...last chapter gave me chills. Shigaraki seems to be growing with the story, and we're seeing more and more why these villains are choosing to follow him. I've honestly been more interested in the villains lately than the heroes.

Anyways...new One Piece poll came out. I like seeing OP polls since there are like 500 characters now, and it's interesting to see who the Japanese readers like.

Top 3 are expected, though damn, Sanji and Zoro are basically neck and neck. I'm surprised to see certain characters remain popular from last time. Ace and Hancock's popularity doesn't seem to be decreasing, despite neither of them doing anything plot important for a while (though one has a pretty good reason obviously). Jinbe's popularity is increasing a lot this arc, I guess Japan likes the newest Strawhat. Nice to see Reiju so popular for being a new character, and Rosinante also deserves his spot.

I'm a big Crocodile fan, so I like to see him remain so popular after so long. Can't wait to see what Oda has cooking for him.
