Trump thinks Japan is freeriding on US military protection.

EX: If Japan is attacked by N.Korea, or China, USA will have to step in and defend Japan, but if USA is attacked, Japan don't have to do anything.

I am trying to find a source for thi. I can not. the only things that have come up are japanese publications stting what if scenarios. Any qoutes or articles with things Trump actually said? I am curious

I did, and jut like those articles no mention of anything trump said about our military presense in Japan. Just a qoute of a japanese oficial talking about carter and korea and fears over TPP not passing
