This is why Wii U will end up being one of the best collectors items in gaming history.

Someone quoted me, but I will just reply to you since I cannot find it.

Not just the system but a bunch of the games as well.

Speaking of this, the Vita has a ton of games on really big clearance all over Illinois. So I am sure it is all over the states. If anyone wants to get in on that, they should start now. Because that is another system, at least in the US, that will be highly collectible. If I can find the system for cheap I will get it. My kids PSP finally bit the big one and cannot be fixed. Too bad you cannot play psp games on the Vita. Correct?

Although I do have a PSTV already.

I thought you could play the digital psp games on Vita? I might be wrong on that though.

Where's Resogun? DriveClub Bikes? I'm assuming the MLB: The Show games and LBP3 don't count?

Isn't this lead due to the fact that NIntendo has to make more exclusives games to compensate the lack of support of third party developers ?

If Sony and Microsoft would have done as many exclusives games as Nintendo maybe they would have more top rated games on meta but they don't need to.

Actually Microsoft and Sony could stop doing games for Ps/Xbox and it would still have enough games from third parties to make them relevent. We can't say the same thing about Nintendo.

Not surprising really, im pretty sure 80% of the WiiUs titles are exclusive aswell lol

Yeah, but exclusives should only be the determining factor if the systems are getting roughly equal support. When Nintendo has close to zero third party support, their advantage in exclusives becomes irrelevant. Buying either the PS4 or XBox One will likely net you more great games than a Wii U purchase.

Sorry but what kind of laughably delusional fanboy wrote this article? Including indies for Wii U but not for PS4 or Xbone? Lol still Persona 5 > everything regardless of 100% exclusivity.

well that's what happens when the biggest software developer in the world also happens to have their own console.

Microsoft and Sony do not produce nearly as many in-house games, they rely on third parties. although Sony does have an unusally large amount of 1st party games coming out soon

I don't want to be THAT guy, but obviously people are stoked on next gen Zelda...and STILL haven't gotten it. I mean, look how well Twilight Princess just sold!

If they had a truly next gen Mario or Zelda, sales would be way better. As it stands right now, Mario Kart 8, Wooly World, Xenoblade and Splatoon are pretty much the best games it has, and those all came out in the last year and a half. The first two years of the WiiU's life cycle, and there were almost no games. Hurts a console launch.

Sony and MS don't produce the kind of games that you can just churn out once a year.

And what do these artificially narrow goalposts mean to the average gamer?

Nothing.

Only a very tiny percentage of fanatics look at a game and say, "oh, this is on another platform, too? I don't want it now."
