I don't care if I ever see Superman again. Actually, strike that, I have no intentions of ever watching a Superman film again. He's a piece of cardboard and I feel no empathy with him whatsoever. Batman, while a much, much better character, is also similar to cardboard. He also has MUCH better opponents who often supply the personality for him.

Personality being the key reason I mostly prefer Marvel over DC's dual poster heros. Give me Spiderman and Iron Man, with all their quirks and flaws, any day of the week.

You mean Iron Man from the movies, right? Because he's not like that in the comics.

In the comics, he was at turns arrogant then humbled, conflicted then clear-headed enough to be one of the most important figures on Earth.  He was one of the few heroes that didn't act like a hero half the time.  His inner demons didn't just bother him, they beat him for years on end.  You could pick up an Iron Man comic after not reading it for a year and he would be in a totally different state psychologically speaking.  I thought that was great.

I pick both. I enjoy superheroes from both sides.

if I were forced to pick one way or another I suppose I would pick DC simply because I'm more attached to Batman (especially the animated series) than anything else, and I do have a fondness for some DC related graphic novel properties that have been adopted to screen

I love both and grew up reading characters for both series.

I think Marvel has done a better job bringing their characters to film, but hopeful next five years DC has a great run as want more films to enjoy.

Movie wise, definitely Marvel, as they incorporate all their movies in a good timeline making events that happen in one series part of another series so it's definitely nice to see..

DC is starting to do this as well with examples like Flash and Arrow, but Marvel has been doing this for quite some time now :p

Have no say on comics (maybe DC?) since I don't read those.. :/

Personally, I'm glad that Marvel are taking a page out of the DCU by eliminating the quips and jokes. The MCU movies lack tension because of those and they've realised that after the disaster that was Age of Ultron.

Haha can't blame you it's pretty accurate , although to be fair I never expected marvel to do it as big as it is in the comics.

How do you know? Did anyone confirm this somewhere? I'd be glad too since I 100% agree with you for the tension and all. I hope Dr.Strange has a more serious and dark feel. Cause if there is something I dislike about Marvel movies is that they all feel the same, they all have the same mood. Seem like none of these movies have their own personality unique to others. Maybe that can be explained with the fact that they are all connected but still.

Dr.Strange is the one Marvel movie I'm really excited about and I hope it feels different.

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

Always prefered marvel, though never read the comic's for either of them.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
