SFV at under 210k. It's weird to say it but Fe is more popular than sf! Jk anywayz I guess that means Capcom will ship around 1mil for their fy year

Street Fighter V (PS4) > 200k
Fire Emblem Fates (3DS) > 351k (without digital sales);

I think you are getting confused with the 2 VERSIONS of FE FATES!

The top one ONLY counts Birthright

While the bottom one counts BOTH Birthright AND Conquest

Basically FE FATES Sold more than SFV <---- Unless NPD doesn't count digital or bundle sales for SFV. If it did and it managed to reach over 400k. Then YES! It beats Fe Fates.

would the vast majority of buyers buy both versions? so it's likely there's about ~170k fans buying?

Im not sure. From past comments, theres people are saying "hopefully SFV digital is good"

No but it's under 210k and FE is 315k retail. FE has a high digital ratio because it was literally sold out in stores.
