Nah, Wii owners should be used to it by now.

At least from EA.  Wii got the best version of GH3 though so I don't really mind.  I wasn't going to buy this anyway (already "in a band" on my friend's 360), and DLC that costs money is just for suckers anyway.

Sadly the world has far too many suckers...

Well I am a wii owner that is upset.

I have a 360 but I won't get it for 360. I usually play games at friends place and I'm not going to lug the 360 around just for one game for my friends. Wii is so much easier to transport and I am less worried about it breaking.

DLC sucks but maybe I should man up because I have GH3 for wii but that has no DLC.

Price and that the GH3 guitar doesn't work really sucks. Maybe the nyko one works for both. And maybe i'll send back my GH3 for a refund.

Sadly true. The industry of ripping off idiots willing to pay the price of an N64 game for a couple maps or songs is going strong. Online play obviously is a major feature, and if I'd wanted the game before, I wouldn't now. I hope no one buys crap like this from EA.

That said, I hope more Wii owners support Guitar Hero since real effort was put into the development of the Wii version with a great online system, great motion controls, and great use of the Wiimote and its speaker.

Wow, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that ACTIVISION would have the more consumer-friendly and feature-robust game than HARMONIX. I mean, seriously! Look at Activision's past! If they could do online play back in october (fairly well, too, i might add) there is absolutely NO reason that Rock Band can't do it now...

Well, looks like one more game moved from the 'buy' list to the 'maybe when they are willing to give me some effort, I'll be willing to give them some money' list. Which, I suppose, is good for me, because I still can't afford the rest of my 'buy' list, and a $170 game wouldn't help that at all.

Also, 360/PS3 pricing for the PS2 game? F*** that s***.

Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.

1) WiiFit will outsell the pokemans.
Current Status: 2009.01.10 70k till PKMN Yellow (Passed: Emerald, Crystal, FR/LG)

This would have sold millions had they kept the online play....Now it'll sell 1 million MAX..

- Guitar from Guitar Hero III not compatible? Check.
- No bass guitar included? Check.
- No online play (while GHIII díd offer online)? Check.
- No downloadable content? Check.
- Less content than other versions? Check.

EA is not getting my money, that's for sure.

The Wii Drums are going to be white!

I'm a Wii owner who's very angry and not at all "used to it" because I don't care about most of EA's games.  I suppose what pisses me off is that Harmonix sold out to EA, because this is exactly the kind of shit that results from that.  I'm surprised they don't take enough pride in their work to ensure that it isn't published with these kinds of limitations.

Am I missing something?

The article says "No word on online play or DLC at this time."...It doesn't say "No online play or DLC." as far as I can tell....

Can those of you complaining about there being no DLC or online play cite a source or edit your posts please?

Either I missed something, in which case I would appreciate someone pointing it out so I can join the complaining, or you guys are jumping the gun, in which case I would appreciate if you edited your posts before more people fall victim to the confusion.

To Each Man, Responsibility

A 2nd article was released that said no DLC or online.
