What will my gamestop do? The one I go into most often (while i wait for pizza) has a big wall of Rockband games splitting their 360 and Wii side from the PS3, PSP, DS side.
Half of me wants this game to flop on the Wii because the developer/publisher had absolutely no reason not to have a Wii version ready with the release of the PS3, XBox 360 and PS2 release ...
The other half thinks that if this game sells less than the PS3 version publishers will see this as a justification for releasing this version late ...

Ah cmon, dont be so harsh on them. After all, taking specific content out in comparison to the original game will have cost serious dev time and money. so no wonder it is late.

It would be one thing if this game was being released only for the PS3 and XBox 360, but being that there was a PS2 version and they had 12 months of the Wii outselling the PS3 and XBox 360 before the game was released they could have (and should have) had a Wii version ready in December.

well, I did agree with you, didnt I? No reason whatsoever except for the idea that they are douchebags who have no idea in regards to the console market.

IGN already announced there will be no online play and no downloadable songs. It's also based on the PS2 version which had additional content taken out compared to the PS3 and 360. Harmonix, EA and MTV can kiss my ass for this egregious error of judgement. Anyone that would sit and spend $170 on a gimped version of a game that is otherwise amazing needs to have their brain checked. Only a complete fool would buy this Wii version. Thank you third party developers for proving yet again the Wii is of less priority than even the PS2.

Why didn't they just make the full version of the game on the Wii, when the game was released, instead of waiting until the hype has died down? Do they want it to purposely sell bad?
why did they wait so long? and i dont think it will have high sales cause people already bought it, but i hope it does have high sales
