A real shame for Lionhead and the UK games industry. Hopefully those guys can find work again, we have a strong industry and I'm sure many will get back on their feet even if it's creating a game studio of their own.
Sad thing is, MS will still own the Fable IP, are they likely to push it on to an inferior developer to churn something out I wonder?

Are the Tories to blame for the Danish studio closure also? What about all the great British industry icons destroyed in the 00s such as Eidos/Core etc?
This is awful for the staff involved. But seems to be more related to MS's repositioning of Xbox than a political party you dislike.

Tories actually introduced tax break in 2014, which they have wanted for a while. All good for the industry.

Shutting Ensemble down was bad. Was the studio really losing them money or were they just not making enough?

wow! So Microsoft basically dissolving their best studio in Lionhead.....What happened to that new non Fable IP they started developing in 2014?
