Heavy Rain did choices and consequences much better than Beyond. I hope Detroit is more like HR than Beyond to be honest.

Saying the game is "poorly designed" is no different than calling it "a good game". Both are opinions and you can't say anyone is objectively right/wrong for having those views.

And it will change nothing because it isn't irrefutable.

You don't have to change a thing. My position is only supported by my own theory that if a game is good or bad it it is for everyone. By how much (scores)... THAT is an opinion. Or if you like it or not, that would also be completely up to each one of us.

Heavy Rain. Beyond just drags on and on in so many places, like for instance the desert-sequense

The first time through, Heavy Rain was one of the best and most engrossing games I'd ever played. It loses a lot of its impact once you learn that every decision doesn't have an impact (really, how could it?) and who the real killer is.

Beyond has better graphics and is more of a "game" but it still doesn't offer much more interactivity.

In the end, I guess I have to go with Heavy Rain. It's hard to top the tension, the boobies, the consequences, etc. Just don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain.
