The first time through, Heavy Rain was one of the best and most engrossing games I'd ever played. It loses a lot of its impact once you learn that every decision doesn't have an impact (really, how could it?) and who the real killer is.
Beyond has better graphics and is more of a "game" but it still doesn't offer much more interactivity.
In the end, I guess I have to go with Heavy Rain. It's hard to top the tension, the boobies, the consequences, etc. Just don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain.
