lol they said that the frame rate is more stable than WWHD.

Sounds like they are saying its not because the GPU is too weak,
but because the system memory bandwidth wasnt high enough.

I hope Nintendo's NX is around the 176 GB/s memory bandwidth like the PS4's is, if they are aiming for 1080p.

"And on balance, it's a more evenly optimised experience than 2013's Wind Waker HD, where navigating the seas could see more worrying drops to 20fps."

Well, Wind Waker HD was a rock solid 30fps 99% of the time, so I don't see why now is this a problem. They're both solid in frame rate, and that's what counts. I'm glad DF acknowledges that :)

Drops were horrible out at sea, especially during storms.

Yeah? I swear I didn't notice. I noticed some frame drops in a dungeon (can't remember what dungeon, though), but I guess I wasn't "lucky" enough to sail in a storm xDDDD.

To be expected

30 fps holds for the majority of the game so no problem.

The game is stable 99.9% of the time, is just a single area that causes some problems because the fog.

frame rate drops huh?
hmm ok.

In one single little area of a massive game. Its not fair at all to point at that when most games today, including remasters, are way less stable. Resident Evil HD, a GC remaster with less improvements than TPHD on Ps4 has more framedrops below 30 on more areas than TPHD, and thats with a way more powerfull hardware, I didnt see people pointing at that.
