Be interesting to see how Elba's interpretation of Roland Deschain of Gilead plays out. Have to have a palaver with my ka-tet about it.

How is that even going to work? The books were barely coherent in written form. Three books in and I had no idea what was even happening. It's certainly true that, with King's writing style, a LOT can be cut through without losing much actual content, and he uses a ton of words to describe something that can be shown in a few images, but this seems like an extremely difficult transition.

The books are also a curious mix of boring and interesting so an adaptation that just displays the interesting bits might end up pretty good.

I will be not be watching this since i read the series. And at the end of it, i found the most insulting thing i ever read untill now. A F**cking disclaimer after 3000+ pages about a disrespectful sellout who didn't want to try anymore.

Great actors! I always enjoy Stephen King stories, hope its good.

I love all things supernatural and the book series is okay, so why not.

Loved the first four books immensely (Wizard and Glass is my all time favorite book). I guess Wolves was pretty ok too, but man the last two books were so bad. Here's hoping this turns out good.
