#10 PS4 Black Ops 3 Bundle (up 1)
#41 XB1 Gears Bundle (up 10)

#07 No Man's Sky LE

People are really underestimating how many No Man's Sky will sell.

*on Amazon, to hardcaore games
not so much on the casual side, so people who shop at gamestop or walmart ;)

it will overperform like until dawn
and the overall sales will be higher.
prolly in the "SFV or The Order" range, what would be huge! success
but don't expect a multi million seller ;)

It depends on how you see 'multi million seller'. I have a feeling the game will surprise people, that's all.

multi million is a good amount over 2 or even 3 million.
it's promising. im just not sure yet, if the game will live up to the hype.
i hope so.

At this point, living up to the hype is not a problem because people are already on board. The only question mark is longevity. If it has that then it could well sell several million copies, perhaps even top 5m - 6m over time, but if it's widely seen as 'repetative' (and I mean my gamers, not naysayers) then it could dwindle in sales dramatically. I'm still convinced this won't happen though. No Man's Sky will sell 1m - 1.5m copies in its first week ... perhaps a little more. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but that's how I feel about it at the moment. If something unforseen happens then I'll re-evaluate.

okay that is at least the double i suspect
500 - 750k launch is my reasonable guess based on "nothing" :D

That's a reasonable guess based on 'nothing' but my guess is based on the fact I've been following this game closely and keeping track of the fans on sites, forums and Youtube. There are many many people who consider No Man's Sky a revolution in gaming. Whether I agree with that is neither here nor there. Actually my use of 'several' there is incorrect because several means more than two but not by much. I'll leave it though, I'm not trying to write a short story lol. Grammar and perfect word selection isn't something I concentrate on when writing on forums :)

If the game is actually bundled with the PSVR (which Sony would be so stupid not to), it will count as a sale with each unit sold, which would up the numbers by the millions.

On the other hand, the Amazon ranks has proven wrong the silly entitled gamers that thought that the 60$ price tag was "too damn high". Hilariously enough, the Limited Edition is killing the Top 10 with a 80$ price tag.

I honestly didnt expect to be selling this well, which is a nice surprise.

And to the person saying that the game is charting high on Amazon because only hardcore gamers buy there.

Really happy for Hello Games, they deserve it. Sean Murray is the best thing to come out of Cork since Roy Keane!

Forget VR having any real impact on sales. VR will do well but won't set the world on fire (just yet), and I'm not judging the games success based entirely on the game's position on Amazon, I'm judging it on the buzz and excitement I'm seeing everywhere. It's spawning fan sites everywhere and that's before it's released and we actually know everything about it.
