Forums - Gaming - Street Fighter V is more Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash than Splatoon.

In terms of content at launch, which game resembles Street Fighter V the most?

Splatoon. Just enough for... 23 20.35%

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. Barely Barebones. 66 58.41%

None. The content in SFV is actually fun. 24 21.24%

Total:113

Maybe the game needs something like Alpha 3 world tour. That would be something.

Oh please Splatoon launched with just a few maps, in fact I think Street fighter 5 actually has more content.

Splatoona good single campaign from day 1, tons of weapons and gear, a 1vs1 local mode, 3 online modes, the online worked perfectly since day one and the extra content didnt need to be unlocked by ridiculous amounts of in game money, and also it started coming the same week the game was released. So no.

Splatoon, Nintendo, godlike.

Street Fighter, not Nintendo, crap.

Broken record much.

People forget Splatoon launched with a decent sized single-player campaign that's considerably longer to what SFV offered.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Street Fighter 5 = 6.4GB, 60€
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash = 1.396GB, 50€
Splatoon = 2.2966GB 40€

I think this says it all Street Fighter 5 has more content than both the other games combined.

Some people just like to play revisionist history.

Actually Splatoon had only a tacked on single player mode with not much of a story and at launch you could only choose from 2 maps and 1 online mode and the 1v1 mode is not true 1v1 because the Wii U isn't powerful enough to support true local multiplayer.

Plus Splatoon is missing several stable features you find in all FPS online games such as private lobbies or even voice chat.

So no, Splatoon is a less complete game at launch but the gaming media cartel didn't have a problem with that did they.

I'd be more sympathetic towards Street Fighter's cause if the few modes it did have actually...you know...worked. Online is horribly buggy, the "story mode" doesn't even selectable difficulty options (was that really that difficult?), and the matchmaking has been a disaster.

Say what you want about Splatoon's lack of release content and the absolutely bland "campaign" that it had stapled on as well, it at least did what it claimed it was going to do at launch.

Except there is not a single comment in the whole internet where I say SFV is crap. I'm just pointing pretty obvious differences between both games that some people either dont know because they didnt had the game at launch or they just dont want to remember.

Reality is a broken record?

Epic analogy, bro.

This is pretty interesting direction. All 3 games made a lot of mistakes in regards to their launch plans, scheduling, and content releasing. Why does matter which one made a bigger mistake?
