It better not be pointless like that Xenoblade X direct from last year.

Do we have anything more solid than "L~A" on Neogaf to justify the claim it'll be a 5 minute Direct? I ask because I'm pretty sure that's significantly shorter than any previous direct (I think the shortest might be the 11 minute Pokemon Direct from 2013), and I could easily see it being a typo (15mn, 25mn, etc, or 50mn) or a misunderstanding (their source said it'll have a 5 minute trailer and they thought it meant it's a 5 minute direct).

5 minutes? That's time for barely one new announcement. I hope it lasts longer than that. I'm sure there's hope... at the end of the rainbow.

It's probably just the announcement of Detective Pikachu, Pokemon GO or Pokken Fighter.
And if it is something new for the Pokemon main franchise, it's probably just Pokemon Z.

Hopefully we will be able to see if those Pokemon Rainbow rumors are true, either way something is getting announced and I'm hyped.
