I think the majority of the complaints come from how much a "complete" game ultra street fighter 4 is compared to SFV right now, and when you consider that USF4 is €24 and the featureless SFV is €75 on psn store... I can see why people would have issues with the new game.

Also like others pointed out, a promise from Capcom that they'll bring worthwhile content to a game months after you buy it/launch should really just look at some of their Gems from the previous generation to see how they dropped some titles right away when bad PR hit and tried to cite market saturation on the issues with some of their fighting games while they were pumping out a new game in the genre every 3 months.

edit - should point out, I didn't watch the vid in the OP, I'll consider it but I've no real interest watching "moderately upset Joe" because he has a deal with the people he should be raging at, would just make me unsub from his channel like I probably should have some time ago.

For real ? A game release like ages ago is more comlete than sf5 that released last week , a game that had how many patchs and upgrades? is this why people are complaining ? Then its easy, go buy ultra street fighter 4 or wait a month.

in terms of releases of SFIV

Street Fighter IV

Super Street Fighter IV

Super Street Fighter IV : Arcade Edition

Super Street Fighter IV : Arcade Edition 2012

Ultra Street Fighter IV

(as well as many many patches and bug fix releases in between each of these big releases)

The thing here is though, There was talk since every single patch and new release of the game that capcom would bring in a series of trials for the new characters and updated ones to work with the changed mechanics from SFIV versions of the characters, it wasn't until Ultra SF IV launched that there was new trials added, talking maybe 4 years+ after Super came out before there was any form of introduction to the new characters besides playing with them or looking for combo videos on youtube, a suggestion of "wait a month" is really unlikely to bring all the stuff which is missing from a SF game if SFIV is anything to go by is what I'm getting at.

This is so true lol.  He would have ripped the game a new hole if he didn't have that deal.

Say that in his comment section and see if you don't get attacked by his idiotic fanbase that can't see how shit his channel has become. I can't remember the last time he reviewed something, and when he does its weeks after the game comes out.

I don't think you should take his channel seriously.  It's just a business that makes him a lot of money.

I've watched maybe 15 reviews from him over the years,  some on games I love,  some on games I hate but regardless he made me laugh.

I think it's a certain type of gamer who takes his reviews seriously and defends him.  It's the gamer who's been gaming for years but is falling out of love with their hobby and want a reason to justify why.  So they side with joes rants as if it's the game developers faults that they don't enjoy them no more.  But in reality it's them.  They're getting old and grumpy.  A change of hobby is needed.  Maybe fishing or reading books :P
