Forums - Gaming - Bethesda is currently working on 3 "long-term" and "different" projects

Most likely to be one of the projects:

New IP: Sci Fi RPG 27 51.92%

New IP: Action Adventure game 1 1.92%

New IP(s): not specified 2 3.85%

The Elder Scrolls 6 11 21.15%

Wolfenstein 1 1.92%

Revamped Fallout 0 0%

Total:42

I just hope one of them is The Elder Scrolls VI. And I also hope that they unveil it at E3... this would be pretty cool.

As for the other projects, like some suggested... I'd like a sci-fi RPG. I'm sure they have the talent to pull a nice game with a very good lore and interesting world.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Elder Scrolls VI is probably several years away.  Unless something drastic changed, it's the same team that works on Fallout, which they're still working on now.  Even if they hired more people for concurrent production, I imagine that most of their staff would still work on both.  It's not going to be anytime soon.

Wow, that's sad to hear. I thought maybe it could release Q4 2017. Oh well, I'll try to not complain much since there are so many amazing games coming up.

Different for Todd Howard means a slight change in the color of the sky. They haven't made a new IP in decades. Remember "a stable 30fps" don't trust a snake.

"New and Crazy" Mobile confirmed.

I had no idea about this. Which studio did they acquire?

Actually, I was wrong, it's a new studio but with some people they worked with before.  Already has 40 employees and growing.

Ah interesting. I do wonder if they would get their own project so quickly though - instead of merely helping out on one of those projects
