For example, I will never forget that day when I saw Shogun:Total War. I was at my best friend's house, and we always played SNES together, but he was like dude check out this pc game. I remember being like 'pc, meh, I've played everything px has to offer'....and then after maybe 5 minutes of loading lol, I saw the game and was like "FINALLY". As I watched the different squads form into assault patterns and the archers raining down arrows. It was beautiful. Only even moreso when I played Rome:TW for the first time. Just breathtaking. I fucking love Activision.

Why?

Memories of my brothers and I playing the first Tony Hawks game, my mum and dad also used to join in from time to time.

Whole extended family playing The Weakest Link (British quiz show) game at Christmas.

When I was 16/17, not yet old enough to go to bars or clubs. My friends and I would have house parties. Guitar Hero was usually brought out at some point in the night.

Call of Duty has been a franchise that I have loved since CoD2. Don't play every iteration, but when I get into one, it's awesome (like the current blops3).

I also fucking love Naughty Dog (Crash, Jak, and Drake), Capcom (Street Fighter memories with brothers and dad, Devil May Cry), and Nintendo (Pokemon)

I F'N love Clap Hanz. They make my all-time favorite sports game, Hot Shots Golf. It's the only sports game that i ever get really addicted to. There is supposedly going to be a new one released this year, on PS4.

I fucking love Naver. They translate so many comics I'd never been able to read, and for free, without ads! Some of the most popular stuff are really painful to read though, I just wish koreans wouldn't screw their own manhwas like that.

Naughty Dog

Why because they made the best games I've ever played. Also because they are ambitious and optimalisation is something different with naughty dog. Besides not a single company I know brought storytelling in such a great way to gaming as ND did, TLOU being the mature pinacle and UC2 being the best adventure storytelling.

Sony Santa Monica for the God of War franchise. Which put the hack and slash genre to the table and inspired many good games like darksiders.

Nintendo EAD for the best 3d platformers ever made and Zelda. I dislike Nintendo's hardware division and management though.

Sony

For being the best console maker out there bringing a very diverse gaming library to their consoles. With third partie support at it's finest what is not to love except for their threatment of the Vita. Besides there aren't that many SP focussing studio's out there Sony fills the gap nicely in this multiplayer focused age.
