Gaming is slowly becoming crazy with censorship. At this rate we'll all be playing games with no violence, and just Disney-esque games where you don't have to do anything but watch because the controls are also too complicated for some people. It's like the SJWs are the new Christians.
Why would warriors fight in bikinis anyway? That isn't exactly a lot of armor! Silly Fire Emblem people, Nintendo's just saving them from themselves.

well you had your chance on the Gamecube and Wii the last time, both titles failed saleswise. It was Awakening which brought the series back to life and it went the same direction like any JRPG and grew up with their Fanbase. Every game in the series was always the typical Japanese game for its time

My point was Awakneing DID NOT HAVE THAT PETTING GAME and SEEING THE CHARACTERS HALF NAKED. And it still mangaged to SELL OVER 1.5mil and BROUGHT BACK THE SERIES

Awakening was the cause of fates, deal with it.
It was full of fan service, sold very well, so of course now all Fire emblem will be full of fan service...even spin-off like SmtxFE.

Wait, how was Awakening full of fanservice...? The only time I remember fanservice was 1 or 2 dlc maps? Aside from that, there was hardly any at all... It was quite a tame title.

This is what happened:
Rol - Why does the things that have been removed (Petting, Seeing the characters Half Naked) In the game anyway
Ruler - Because its a Japanese Game.
Me - Awakening was a Japanese game but it didn't have those things that have been removed. And it still managed to sell over 1.5mil!
Sooooo basically people who bought Awakening didn't bought it for the "SEXUAL FANSERVICE". And that is what is going to happen with FATES as well.
Yes! There could be people buying it for the "SEXUAL FANSERVICE" but they will be VERY SMALL. But seriously! Why woud you have that reason to buy the game anyway. Im sure theres other Japanese Anime games on PC and on the VITA that can do SOOOOO MUCH MORE and most liekly in a much lower price!
And besides! The "SEXUAL FANSERVICE" is still there! But the options have been reduced.
