Everything would be the Street Fighter V launch right now, except perhaps on Nintendo platforms.

I guess I would be an exclusively PC gamer. As for the overall trend, my guess is that the xbox one would have observed a large number of the ps4 sales.

Honestly I think console gameing is MUCH much better when sony is around, and doing well.
At this point I honestly think the gameing industry would take a punch to the gut if sony bowed out.
We would lose out on alot of games, we would otherwise have had.

Another note:

Many think VR is doomed, and activly hope it ll do bad.
Oculus and its price tag really made people go "yep this is VR failing".

I think PS VR is going to carry the heavy load, for the early part of VR growing to be a thing.

I think without sony, the future of VR gameing would not be anywhere near the same, its going to end up being now.

We re talking history changeing level events here (as far as gameing go).

I would still be playing 98% of my games on PC, Wii U, and 3DS, so I would basically be unaffected. 

Well with there being one less player (not hero but player) in the game I would imagine Wii U getting a lot more 3rd party support along with Xbox and PC getting some more releases. I would still be gaming on PC of course because I made that decision just before the next gen announcement and the next gen hardware wouldn't have changed, especially for WIi U which launched in 2012. The gaming industry would still be alive and chugging along though. I also imagine VR still happening.

Without Sony's 400$ low end hardware machine full of remasters and with an online subscription required to play?

Maybe more people would have joined the pc master race with free online, cheaper games, better graphics, mods etc (i don't consider them joining X1's side because X1 shares ps4's problems).

XB1 would be the industry leading console.
