He can do more than just see the future. He can actually change fate. This is shown at the end of Xenoblade Chronicles when Zanza has both the Monados and "should be at one with the passage of fate", but is unable to see the future. Shulk even turns his energy sword created by the Mechons into the Monado III. This is stated at the end where Zanza asks how he is able to see the future without a monado, and Shulk answers "I don't know", then shortly after, his sword is hit by the energy of his comrads and breaks apart and becomes an entirely energy sword and Zanza states "Can it be?... A Monado!".

Shhh....I haven't gotten the Monado III yet. Just got to Mechonis a few days ago. ;)

According to death battle, Link could kill Cloud, lol. And Link wouldn't stand a chance in hell against Shulk.

Shulk still looks better IMO.

That Deathbattle was bullshit. It does not count. They severely under powered and nerfed Cloud, while they give Link everything.
