I was actually going to say something about Alcohol.  I think under today's standards you'd have a much easier time trying to prove a link between  alcohol and sexual violence than you would Games, or Porn (even rape porn), but I don't see people lining up to take that industry down.

Too much money and the government remembers the last time they tried to ban alcohol.

Oh I know the reasons, don't get me wrong, plus I'm Irish and my stepfather brews beer, and I have friends in the South who make moonshine.  So, all in all, I wouldn't adhere to such a law, and I'd be more than happy to fight over it lol.  I was just making the point that something that actually has a much clearer link to sexual/domestic violence (nevermind bar fights, random fights, vehicular homicide etc...) and we already learned there's no stopping it without making things worse.

Ineffectual in the Sudan, Darfur, and Syria...but they feel confident they can tackle the very severe issue of hentai in Japan. /facepalm

Meanwhile at the Saudi Arabian women's rights conference...

I'm not reading this whole thread but how about they condemn Saudi Arabia first.
