Forums - General - Where in the forum rules does it say I can't bring back old threads?

I get a message by Fishyjoe warning me I'd be banned if i kept bringing back old threads (or whatever word he used).

I read the forum rules from top to bottom and nowhere did it say I can't.

Could someone please explain this? Is it an unwritten rule?

The part about how it's our jobs to make sure people don't disrupt the forums with inappropriate behaviour that ruins it for everyone else.
