Forums - Sales - UK Charts Week Ending 30th January 2016

I do wonder if the Final Fantasy Explorers sales were hindered by stock issues as after its 29th Janurary rlease date it was out of stock on Amazon by Saturday evening so I decided to look at other sites and it was also out of stock on TheGameCollection, GameSeek, ShopTo of which I consider the some of the big UK online retailers and this morning I noticed its now also out of stock at GAME.

From this we could presume it has sold though most of its initial shipment and looks like it has exceed expectations.

Well, at least Final Fantasy Explorers and Lego Marvel can push software sales on Nintendo consoles. Nintendo really needs to do something on the UK market, they are being largely ignored.

At this point there isn't much Nintendo can do. I think even NX will have a hard time in the UK.

They just need COD and every other shooter and they will be fine its working well for Sony and Microsoft but the charts worlwide other than Japan look very bleak these days with 7+ games generally in the top 10's all been shooters and the rest are sports with an odd release changing things for a week or two :(

What makes you think that? People are no more likely to buy NX for CoD than they did buy Wii U for Black Ops II. If Nintendo wants CoD to become a significant draw card for NX then they need to take the official marketing rights (and timed exclusive DLC), and make NX the official competition platform for CoD. Without something other than merely being on NX the shooter market isn't suddenly going to migrate to Ninteno is substantial numbers.
