Forums - Gaming - The immaturity of the great PC vs. PlayStation/Xbox debate

Well, what can you do when the ps4 is the best place to play.

Around the Network

Thing is, Xbox is a better choice for developers. That's why they put their games there first, then later port them to PC.

Why isn't this thread called PC vs. console? Because the Nintendo fans who get involved are usually found on the PC side of the argument. There's no siz table PC vs. Wii U/Nintendo console conflict as far as I am aware of.

Well tbh, there's no reason to. PC + Nintendo is probably the best gaming combination you could have, they complete each other imo.

PS4 is clearly where it's at.

Noble, Noble, Noble...

You too?

I'm jk.

As someone who is probably split 50/50 between PC and home console, some of the propaganda people throw around is pretty funny.

I don't even understand why there is an issue or why people have to exaggerate or make up reasons to prove that one side is superior.  The best choice is the one you like to play on.  If it's PC, fine.  If it's home console, fine.  If it's both, even better.

Why should there be an argument?  Each platform has strong points that will appeal to different people to different degrees.

You mean the best combination that you could have, because it's not the best combination for me.  This is exactly what I'm talking about, this idea that "my preferences are superior".  I also don't understand the idea that it's better because it has less overlap.  Overlap doesn't hurt, it only helps, as I get to decide where I want to play my third-party titles.

As a Nintendo fan/gamer/loyalist that has all Nintendo's home consoles and handhelds systems since the NES I find hilarious that people "fights" for a "system master race". It was fun back in the nineties in the SNES and Genesis/Mega Drive era, now it's pointless unless gamers earn money each time they play in X or Y system. I've never liked PC games anyway, except FMV games, hahaha but I'm always open to buy some PC games the same way I bought a PS3 to play Assassin's Creed and God of War games. Just play whatever you want, in whatever system!

Guys make sure this thread stays civil so Rol gets modship.

Well yeah, I did said ''imo'' so I made it clear that it was the best for me. What I'm trying to say here is that most Nintendo fans I know usually have a PC or PS4/One because almost all third-party games don't come out on Wii U, so generally speaking it's the combination that gives us the most options on what to play. Also, again, the Wii U doesn't have third-party games on it, so there's no point at all in making PC vs. Wii U discussions, I was just agreeing with what Rol said in the OP when he mentioned he doesn't see this kind of thing happening as it does with PC vs. PS/XB.

Anyways, I hope I don't come off as rude or anything, it's just my opinion on the matter xP

Well if the consoles would kindly die already we wouldn't have any debates. We wouldn't have silly exclusives and powerpoint slideshows sold as "games".
