I recently realized that its often the battle themes that get me through RPGs.
Most of you here have probably played your fair bit of RPGs, which is why I want to ask you your favorite battle themes of all time.

FF13 huh, interesting, listening to the music, it doesn't sound bad at all...it's just that I don't have good memories with the game itself...

I'm in that mood right now, it changes depending on what I'm playing :P

I really haven't played RPGs for quite some time, so not much comes to mind. I do remember loving the whole Paper Mario Soundtrack (especially Super Paper Mario's). The soundtrack of the hyperdimension neptunia series is also quite good.

I'll probably add more games to the list once I remember them...

Also, in my honest opinion, the standard Battle Theme from FF VIII is much better than the standard Battle Theme from FF VII.

Been playing the hell out of Dark Cloud 2 and I must say that it has my favorite battle music. Every enemy encounter starts the theme. It helps sometimes because I'll not see the enemy but know one is close due to the thematic change.
