There are definitely stranger anime out there, but I remember Bobobo being pretty amusing when I was younger. Lots of non-stop randomness, and great for people who like 4th-wall breaking humor (like me). I liked the ice-cream cone (Soften?) and Captain Battleship.

I was actually thinking about looking it up sometime, but I've been watching Gintama off and on for a while...and it mostly covers the same itch.

Well in a way you could call GINTAMA wierd but in my opinion it is the best and I mean BEST show ever... It provides real emotions and it makes you laugh,cry feel sorry for even the bad guys and makes you even appreciate humanity some more. It is such a great show that its fillers if you could call them that are better than most shows' main story and they never drop their quality. It is not just a show but a pure unadulterated work of art that in its essence makes you empathize with all of humanity
