like how this game is still in it's first month yet everyone besides okr is referring Japan sales in past tense - it's sales are still around 70k, it's a first release 4 months late and it's showing signs of legs, that alone is something 95% of non nintendo wii games have failed to do.

With Europe sales this will have legs and I dont think that the Japan sales will ever dip below 6k per week, by the time the next pro evo release comes out this will have at least 500k converted fans i reckon, not a bad spring board for the next installment, also this will be Konami's biggest Wii franchise and single game by the end of 08 i reckon.

The key to PES2008 Wii's sales are all about having people play it. That will sell the game on it's own. They need to set up in store demo's and promotions in others. Would do wonders for sales.

If FIFA 08 sold then this should sell haha. Well I'm hopeful at least. I'm gonna say at least 500k in Europe/Others.

But PES09 for Wii should sell rather well.

I think the first release was always gonna be slow and it wouldn't have mattered when it was released but this game will be like Zak and Wiki in the fact that at it's that high quality - a very high percentage will buy the next one

Well its a popular 3rd party game, and yeah i expect the second to do much better. Still hoping this does well in EU though. Alot already have a PS3 and wont be willing to get the same game. Would be interesting to see the next battle though
