The main reason I'm happy is because of how this will change Solo Standard for me. I would plow through wins and end up soooo close to gold, and then get matched with the g00by crew as teammates and plow through losses. Enter Gold and then leave a game after lol. At least this time it sounds like the matchmaking and rewards for winning/losing are a little more ironed out.
Yea I agree. Unified point system is the best way. Feb can't come soon enough; I want to see how I match up in skill level and not just rank points.
