Forums - Gaming - What do you usually name your game characters?

JJ, JotaJota or just Lipe.

But when I have to name villains in games I generally put something nasty. In Pokémon games my rival is always named Putinha (Little Bitch). :P It's funny to read: "Little Bitch wants to battle with you!". "Little Bitch ran away".

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Usually, I stick with my real name, Spencer, when I'm playing as a male. I use the name Ashley if I'm playing as a female (no real reason I just like the name)

Defaults or Wilde for RPGs. Wildcard for anything else which I started using back in 1994 after I played Shockwave for my 3DO. But last year I created Hock Dawner which is an anagram of my name for Elite Dangerous and been using that whenever I can.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Lawlz, now I wish we could still name our rivals, although they're not really even rivals anymore. =/

Generally a variation of my username or a mangled version of my real name. The latter is a callback to DOS times, when games where shipped with a QWERTY or QWERTZ layout while I'm using AZERTY, thus typing my name wrong due to false key bindings.

In some games, I keep the canon names (in Earthbound for example), but that's pretty rare

Never really thought of game characters as Avatars. Thought it was was more forum related. Easily overlooked, especially since I didn't even look past two days 😃.

I hope so. Since my good buddy ethomaz got wrongly banned for being the fun loving guy that he is, I will have to try out for The Most Vile Villain of VGChartz for this year. Looks like I'm off to a good start. I'm being watched for my use of the feline language already. 😒
