Many games allow you to change the names of your game characters. What do you usually name yours? Any reason why you use those names?

When I played RPGs, back when I had time and really loved them, I would usually name one of my characters Max. I always loved the name Max, because I loved Max from Robotech. Eventually named one of my dogs Max also. If I were to play a casual game and I usually play females, I would name her Sarah. I loved Sarah from Virtua Fighter because she was so hot. Then I started naming my female characters Cynthia, because of this girl that is so pretty that I crushed on. I guess I name my characters after my crushes. 😐

As for now. I like to be funny and give them dirty names. I named one my Skylanders 'Penis'. It always gives me a chuckle and when people see the character name pop up when the Skylander manifests, it's golden. 😃 I also ask them if they want to play with my Penis. This just happened yesterday at work. Good stuff 

Felyne, Flare, Timm, or whatever the default name is.

I once named Link "Mama" in LoZ: LttP just so one guy would say "Yo Mama". I thought it was hilarious back in 1992.

Jeff... that's not even my real name.

I usually name them Hiro. If playing female its either Jillwie or Sufragette. If a character has a default name like Cloud, i leave it like that.

Liam, since it's my real name. I used to call all female protaganists Sara or Zara until three years ago when I got my girlfriend and started naming them Haruki after her. Dogs are always Banjo after my real dog. I like my games (usually it's RPGs with this option) immersive, so for me naming characters after people I know is just what I do.

Pain. Almost all of the times ( especially in Souls games, so fitting )
If I wanted to create a second characters I usually go with Wander, or Hope.

Pretty sure i answer soemthing like this not long ago. Anyway, main male name Nathaniel (after Nathaniel Essex), main female name after a nude model... not mentioning that one.
