Dang, DR2 too? Well, yeah... go get those games. They are pretty good... o: Also, a bit surprising they're moving all their games to the PC. I guess they didn't do so hot on the Vita..?

Hmm, considering how niche it is, I wonder how much hetter PC sales will be compared to Vita sales.

Looking forward to trying this game out.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

200k to 300k on Vita.

Not that bad I think considering its a niche game.

Expanding the series to PC to increase the userbase more than likely - also because its apparently easy to port PSVita games to PC (i.e. Hyperdimension Neptunia and other games got ported too).

As for the poll - I wanna get Zero Escape so I can finally take them off my 3DS and Vita wishlist XD.

Considering the series and genre, not bad at all either... o:

More like Japanese publishers are finally realizing that PC gaming is more than just visual novels outside of Japan.  It's a market that they needlessly ignored for years, which I think shows how insulated they can be from the rest of the world.

This is especially true given that they can release on PC without violating their odd belief that a game should be on Sony OR Nintendo platforms but not both.

999 IS a part of the Zero Escape series.Putting those two options is kind of redundant.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

o_o but... Danganronpa is basically a VN game as well...

Haha, I get what you mean though. Perhaps they didn't release their games on the PC before due to teams not being familiar with PC as well as it not being a viable place to release their games? At least in Japan, I sorta felt playing games on the PC fell into the minority group? Most people I know played on consoles, while only a few people would play on PC. So maybe they saw little reason to port games to the PC. I feel like Steam played a good factor into getting devs to port their games, as it got more people to move to PC and it became a great platform to release games on. That's just me guessing though.

Whoops - did not know that...uhh they can always release one or the other first kinda like how SE is randomly releasing FF games in random order D:!

Lol sure, thats a possibility.

Just to inform you then:

The first Zero Escape is 999(Zero Escape 1 if you would like), the second one is Virtue Last Reward, and the third and last one is Zero Time Dillema.

It would be nice to see 9 9 9 on PC, even if it is just because the original DS game is really hard to find. Also, if they are reading this, release the trilogy on handhelds, I would buy it for my 3DS.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Afaik they did exceptionally well on Vita actually. The first two games sold a combined 200k in the west as of the end of April 2015, which is extraordinarily good for what is a rather niche genre.

I think this is more like it's an easy port and basically free money for Spike Chunsoft, not the Vita version selling badly

Hmm interesting - so I pretty much butchered my own poll XD

Anyways - interesting - at least now I know what order to play them now thanks to you lol.

Just count them as one.Problem solved!

And yes, play them.Zero escape is, in my opinion, the best in the genre.Your mind will be blown to bits with the story.Believe me on this.
