You are not a real fan, a real Nintendo fan transfers money directly into Nintendo's bank account without expecting anything in exchange.

Why would you buy something, especially the games, and then just throw them into the closet with no intention of playing them?

I mean, I would think the reason you're a Nintendo fanatic and love 'giving them money' and supporting them, would be because you love their games, right?

Also, I'm sure you realize this, but just blindly buying all of a companies products out of sheer desire to support them is not a very smart consumer decision, even as a fan of said company.

While Triforce Heroes by all accounts is a stelllar and fun game that offers a lot of content, something as uninspired and bare bones as Ultra Smash does not necessarily deserve your support.
If you are a nintendo fan, you should support games you genuinely like, and want to see more of, in their library, to show them demand for those games is there. If you buy lazy and rushed games like Ultra Smash on the other hand you show them that they can get away with that and still make money, they likely are going to try it again.

If you value Nintendo's current quality standarts and games, don't support their screw-ups, because overall quality is going to drop. And then they're not going to be the company that you knew and love anymore.

I'm a nintendo fan, because I like their awesome producs, I have a lot of nostalgia and positivity towards them.
But you also have to realize that they're a company. They care about making money, so they don't perish, they don't care about you personally.

Of course you are perfectly free to blow your money on whatever you like, but If you're going spend it on products you don't care for, make it amiibos. There's a lot of them.

Couldn't agree more with this, if you want to give money to Nintendo and show the world how great their games are OP, why not have just bought 2 copies of Tri Force heroes and give one to someone you know who owns a 3ds but might not have bought the game, don't know someone with a 3DS, spend that money which is now laying on the floor of your closet on buying them a 3ds system and the game, that way you could end up creating a new Nintendo fan + supporting games which Nintendo makes which are great in 1 move. Rather than giving them money for titles which are just damaging to their IP's in terms of quality control.

Imo buying games which you know to be bad is voting with your wallet for Nintendo... but it is voting for the wrong candidate in their party.

Wow... Blind purchases and support is stupid.

People should support the games they are interested in, not a particular company. Otherwise the games you truly are interested in (regardless of creator) go on decline due to lack of support

Stop. Nintendo aren't your friends, they're a business. You should be a responsible consumer first, a fan second. If they put something good out, buy it. If they put out crap, let their crap rot.

I like to give them my money aswell.

They're my favorite company to give money to as well, and can't wait to see their movies and anime.

Me too. I know I'm getting great content for their price.

This thread is so real. So very, very real.

Yeah, I knew nothing would change.
Not enough to love Nintendo, still mentioning when you did people also not give money to others.

You can love Nintendo without trying to damage the others, you know...

Aye, I felt the same way when reading what he was saying about working in Gamestop, to go into work actively trying to warp the customers of the shop to become pawns in the console war going on inside the OPs head, worries me if any of the employees of the shops I would go into are secretly having their own private power trip regarding the games they sell on a daily basis.

Worrying.
