I was like that, trying to support wii I and 3ds. But I also have a ps4 and x1 so I'm doing my bit for then all. But yeah like for instance I bought the special edition Fatal frame 5 release just to support it.

buy your ps4 and x1 games used, that way sony and MS dont get the credit for it, and then buy your nintendo games new. thats the best way to go about it.

I don't know, feels more that the money just goes on their bankaccount and a small part gets back invested in games.

Well. Just recently the new President of Nintendo vowed to better themselves, letting off old antiquated principals and not building on old ideas. Who knows, maybe they gonna invest, expand and upgrade for a change.

Why would you buy something, especially the games, and then just throw them into the closet with no intention of playing them?

I mean, I would think the reason you're a Nintendo fanatic and love 'giving them money' and supporting them, would be because you love their games, right?

Also, I'm sure you realize this, but just blindly buying all of a companies products out of sheer desire to support them is not a very smart consumer decision, even as a fan of said company.

While Triforce Heroes by all accounts is a stelllar and fun game that offers a lot of content, something as uninspired and bare bones as Ultra Smash does not necessarily deserve your support.
If you are a nintendo fan, you should support games you genuinely like, and want to see more of, in their library, to show them demand for those games is there. If you buy lazy and rushed games like Ultra Smash on the other hand you show them that they can get away with that and still make money, they likely are going to try it again.

If you value Nintendo's current quality standarts and games, don't support their screw-ups, because overall quality is going to drop. And then they're not going to be the company that you knew and love anymore.

I'm a nintendo fan, because I like their awesome producs, I have a lot of nostalgia and positivity towards them.
But you also have to realize that they're a company. They care about making money, so they don't perish, they don't care about you personally.

Of course you are perfectly free to blow your money on whatever you like, but If you're going spend it on products you don't care for, make it amiibos. There's a lot of them.

lol, i'll play them eventually. but i wont lie, there are plenty of games that i bought that i really dont have any intention of playing. maybe once or twice. like that animal crossing amiibo bundle for example. i just wanted to give nintendo money for it. yes, i know it sucks, but i still like doing it. nintendo already knows that game is fucking awful, and my support isnt going to change their knowledge of that. if anything it shows that hey, ill still be there even when you fuck up.

You're a filthy casual. I buy all my games from Nintendo digital. Not only does Nintendo get my money, they get even more of it instead of some middle man trying to get their cut.

I hope you reflect on your actions.

I would like giving my money to Nintendo but they've shown in the past 10 years that they really don't want any of it.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'd love for Nintendo to give me some of their money, actually.
