No thanks. I don't want 3 similar consoles. Let Nintendo do their thing... just hope they deliver great games, that's all.

They could deliver great games with a powerful, gimmick free console.

One thing doesnt have to do with the other.

Yes, they could. But that way the games would be too similar. It's always good to try new things on games. Even the Gamepad, for example, made the experience of Pikmin much much better than before (and the wiimote helped on that too... anyone that played Pikmin games will agree I believe). If Nintendo knows how to use their new idea, I'm totally fine with it. They just can't underuse it like they did with the Gamepad where just a few games benefited from it.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I would be against streaming but maybe not in the future..

I would be fine with the controller going either way but I guess I might prefer a normal controller more

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

I personally like the gamepad. Playing Splatoon feels streamlined and intuitive as I try to shoot ink and learn the playing field through the second screen. Plus doing the squid jump with the pad is actually really cool. I can't imagine building courses for Mario Maker being any easier without the gamepad. Plus, off TV with Smash and Xenoblade is pretty cool.

I think the controller can be unique while simple to work. As long as there are options and developers aren't forcing something that isn't good for gameplay. Wii Sports and Skyward Sword work with their respective motion control formats. Same with Galaxy. As least in my opinion.

Until entire world can have Korean/Japanese level internet, Game Streaming is a pipe dream.

Even then, It is still a pipe dream and will essentially kill all competitive scene.

Controller wise, they still need to continue on with gimmicks, industry is trailing behind as it is. Although they really need to think about what said gimmick means. Because using touch pad, Nintendo never actually went to capitalize on it.

Nintendo could stand to spend one generation not attempting to change how we play and instead purely focus on pushing game design & power.

nintendo's controllers have been great. why do you want their consoles to be boring?

Yahoooooo, a boring industry with 3 identycal consoles!!

lol. QFT

I love the WiiU Pro controller, looks slick and bad ass. It needs a few tweaks to make it better and add analog in it, then we are good.

Why would anyone want a GameCube controller when this exists.

Just give it analog triggers and we're all good.

bad shoulder buttons, no cable

it looks fancy doesn't play well

GameCube's C-stick & D-pad weren't that great either though :/. Since I like 2D platformers I'd rather have a good D-pad than good shoulder buttons, but that's just a matter of preference.

You are correct in this regard. However the C-stick is easily replacable with a standard GCN analog stick. I have done this mod to my Gamecube Hori controllers. SOOOOO much better :) Bigger D-pad to two Z-buttons also!!!!
