Hello, awesome users of VGChartz's awesomeness! Now is the time to take a look back at what our community considered the turdiest game of 2015. You nominated the turds, you voted for the turds, and after a fierce battle, we now have one turd to rule them all, one turd to find them. One turd to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

Quick recap: Which games were looked upon as turds varied quite a bit in the elimination game. Many games were considered merely mediocre, and not up to snuff with the high standard of low quality (see what I did there?) that we look for in true turds. Such games were The Order: 1886, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and Mario Party 10. Other games that participated in the game were probably pretty shit, but they were eventually eliminated by you guys, maybe because they were cheap and not full retail releases? Who knows. In the end, it came down to a battle between a technical mess and a game that was a straight up middle-finger to the fanbase. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 and Animal Crossing: Amiibo Party

Before we announce the winner (which those of you that participated in the elimination game might already know ), let's take a look at the turd pla- uhm, I mean third place.

On third place, we have.... *drum roll*

Raven's Cry! It clocks in with a whopping 27 metascore, so it certainly deserves spot on the podium.

Now let's get back to our duel here: In the end, it seems like the winner is.... the middle finger to the fanbase (Animal Crossing: Amiibo Party. Oh and also the game isn't good either, so that probably helped in its quest to win the TOTY award). However the  technical piece of shit gave it a run for its money!

As I'm sure you figured out, that means Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is second place, but who cares! It's only the second turdiest game of 2015

So congratulations to Animal Crossing for winning this award, here's your prize:

If anyone remembers last year's winner , this is the second Wii U exclusive in a row to win this award. Truly, a remarkable feat! Will next year's turd break the trend? Well, there's only one way to find out.... (And haterz plz. I own a Wii U. Splatoon and MK8 is teh shiz). 

To round this off, I have to give a shoutout to my TOTY co-founder Zisbest. He is awesome. Please go and spam his wall now, it feels lonely. Also a thank you to Zekkyou (Who is not online nearly enough... where art thou, oh dearest Zekks?) who refined our logo and made it just *that* much more turdy.

But you are missing the most important question: did you spam Zisbest's wall?

As somebody who has zero interest in Animal Crossing, I'm really surprised it got this much shit. I picked it up for $30 with the two amiibo bundled in and it's fairly harmless. I thought it'd be garbage too but as a collector $30 was too good to pass up, and I was surprised by how much extra content it has, even if most of it is superficial. The only big fault it has is that it was $60 at one point. Seems like it's a circlejerk winner here honestly.

They should bundle a bottle of TOTY brand laxatives with every set of underwear.

As someone who did not play any of those games, I disagree with this list :p
