I would love a game like this even tho I'm 20 haha. Kingdom Hearts has become my one of my favorite series ever so more games w/ Disney characters is fine with me =D
I am sorry but it would bomb on the 360... I cannot see a Haloboy running out and buying a mickey mouse game... same with PS3, their audiences are way too hardcore at the moment.

I think Mickey Mouse would be a disadvantage to a game rather than an advantage. He is similar to Mario with his status in his respective field (as the mascot of Disney) however he simply doesn't have the status as a gaming character to carry his weight in a game.
Mario sells games because he symbolises quality, gaming and Nintendo - three things many gamers love.
Whereas Mickey Mouse games, well I think this speaks for itself.

I believe that they can overcome this and turn Mickey into a great gaming character, much like I believe that Bioware can revive Sonic, however it would be securing yourself an asset rather than using that asset to gain popularity at this stage.

The same can be said about Shigeru Miyamoto and Mario.
It seems like it could sell millions if it was on Wii, amazing, and had a big marketing push. It may also do well on PS3 but maybe a little less in sales and it would cost more to make. 360 sounds like a waste unless it is a port of a PS3 version.

Mickey Mouse give Mario a run for his money? I reckon he could maybe steal a bit of Marios change when he wasn't looking but I dont think for a second Mario would run for it..
I think he'd just turn to Luigi and say "i've lost more than that down the sofa", could be a good game but come on.
The more GOOD platformers, the better. :D
Please before you discount Warren Spector. Please take a look at the games he's made. He's had a hand in some of the best games ever made. Deus Ex, System shock, Ultima, wing commander and thief.
He's a great great developer. Please play Deus ex, its so awesome. The question is, how will he make a platformer? I can't wait to find out :)
