Forums - PC Discussion - Rumor: HTC Vive price might be as high as $1,500

I read in a german magazine (they tested both) that Sony’s Playstation VR is not sas good as the Oculus Rift, so I expect a price around 300$ and not more than the price of the Oculus Rift.

Yep not as good, no controllers or games prepackaged and you have a much cheaper product. Really can't believe they added an X1 controller to the rift. What a stupid thing to do when the thing is already priced so high.

Wouldn't really surprise me if Sony themselves were leaking false rumors about the price in order to highlight and bring attention to the fact of how cheap it will be on launch.

The more info that comes out, the more ik convinced we'll see a launch price of $300 +-$50.

Sounds like click bait, why are we getting PC related click bait anyway?.

Also why do we have premium anything in this world?. Someone please tell me how anything premium is factually not worth anything.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

I think that would be counterproductive, maybe even disillusion people for the device by "forcing" them to think of life without PSVR, cuz almost no one would buy it at that price.

Rofl.

A 1200$ PSVR is never ever ever ever ever ever ever going to happen.

A 800$ is not going to happen either.

600$ is pushing it.

Those numbers don't make sense to me either.

Maybe information on the cost for the PSVR components could shed some light.
