OG all the way. With the right hookups/mods, old consoles can look great on a new display. GCN component holds up, even on 120+ inch projected screen.

Also, the footage I've seen for the new N64 HDMI mod looks outstanding. Can't wait to see what the old girl can do without all the built in AA.

I prefer to play the originals because I am hardcore and don't want to be tempted by easy save states.

One thing about the originals, back during the PS1 days, all of my saved games on my SNES started to vanish. I'd play again and re-beat some levels and it would happen again. You can replace the battery (I guess) but for me, it was really frustrating.

I had a 101% DKC save and a Chrono Trigger save where all of the characters were level **. Gone just like that!
