PlayStation VR briefly listed on Amazon Canada for $799 USD..   Sony responds..

Sony has responded saying this was an ERROR on Amazon's part.. NO pricing announced..  

PSVR flop confirmed

I can afford it but for that (likely wrong) price, I need to test it out. Haven't tried a vr headset yet. My imagination has filed in the gaps but I'm only willing to pay up to $400 on something I haven't tried.

lmao, if that is true I could see PSVR beeing delayed to 2017 to get a lower price, seriously, nobody would buy a PSVR headset for 800$, especially people in Europe that would get a price of the same number but of their national currency, ending up spending hundreds of dollars more than American citizens...

I do think Sony will probably have ONE big leg up compared to other VR.. If GameStop (and other worldwide game stores) have Demo units in them.. THAT WILL SELL PS VR.. Using VR is what sells it.. NO commercial or review, or article can do it justice.. If the price is RIGHT.. $349-$449 range.. and THIS happens.. I do now think Sony could take #1 for VR in 2016..

Looks more like some desperate people at Oculus trying to justify the price and boost pre orders of the Rift. :-p

Being number 1 doesn't matter if it sells terribly. at such high prices, no acessory will be successful.
