Forums - Sony - Tales of Vesperia coming to ps3 after 360 version...again?

This just reinforces the statements they made before about a ps3 version being a possibility (Eternal Sonata). They are not saying it is a 360 exclusive, only that they will finish the 360 version first and then worry about a ps3 version.

Once again, not a big deal to me since I have both consoles, but some may be interested if they only have a ps3.

That link doesn't appear to work.

Here is the article:

"In a new interview with Gouda Tsutomu and Higuchi Yoshito, who are working on Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox 360, they are asking whether the game will arrive on the PlayStation 3 or not. Higuchi Yoshito answered (warning: rough translation).

Q: PlayStation 3 is scheduled for release?
A: Higuchi's SHINFONIA- "when the GameCube too specialized and because of the PlayStation 2 when transplanted to the lower frame rate, a considerable ingenuity. PlayStation 3 is a very sophisticated, so in that sense I think the same thing can be reproduced. However, it will be released, and what is not yet."

It seems he is trying to say the game will be coming out for the PlayStation 3, just a bit after it is released on the Xbox 360
."

It's a very rough translation, and could be interpreted to mean different things. It looks like he's just saying a PS3 version of the game is possible, but he's not confirming it.

Yeah, thanks for posting the article...I fixed the link.

I agree. They won't give confirmation until after they release the 360 version eitherway. But I'm pretty sure they'd deny a ps3 version if this was going to be an exclusive deal with the 360. So I'd say it is 90% likely to eventually get ported to the ps3.

I am really surprised about this one [/end sarcasm]

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

No surprises here, it will bomb on 360 so it makes sense to release it on PS3 or Wii but PS3 more to keep the graphics up and not redesign for new controller scheme.

I agree. Much like Eternal Sonata (also published by Namco Bandai), this title will probably end up being only a timed exclusive.

Who didn't expect this?
