Forums - Gaming - How long must a game so you can buy it?

depends, if the game sucks... I will never buy it even it has 1000 hours.

A good game, Gears or Uncharted, I'd buy for a 8 hour experience.

Although I do like RPG better. so 20 is the sweet spot for me.

15 to 30 hours is fine for me, But I don't mind shorter games, if there is much replay value... (SSBB for Example)

Guitar Hero 3/ Smash Hits

How well must the grammar in a thread title be before you post in it?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

How long is wii sport?

I'll buy games that are short if they're good. Also reply counts into my aggregated total.

So re4 is like a billion hour game.

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

Main story wise, anything thats 6+ hours as long as the multiplayer good. If the game is only 1 player, I have to really want to play the game to buy it.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

I think you missed a word in your topic title...

My standards vary immensely depending on the genre and quality of gameplay. The more static and tedious the gameplay is, the longer I expect the game to be. I also tend to expect RPGs to be long and involving, and action games to be fairly short but fulfilling. Replay value's good too.

Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

anygame if it's good!

(like no more heroes, buy this!!)

It really depends now that all games are not the full 50 on Wii and 60 on the PS360. For a full priced game, I look for an enjoyable 15-20 hours at least. That is usually not a problem though.

Whoops, I forgot the "be." :P I type too fast so I make mistakes easily.

More proof we need that edit button.
